Preparing a grant
proposal
To increase the chances
of having your grant proposal accepted, it must be well thought out and
prepared, well packaged, and concise. You should ensure that you have
thoroughly read all relevant information relating to the type of grant you
are applying for, and that you meet all criteria before commencement.
Applicants without prior experience in writing a proposal for a government
grant, might like to consider enrolling in a class or workshop on the topic,
or better yet, take advantage of some of the proposal writing tuition guides
available free with some of the grants services listed on
this site.
Above all, ensure you have developed a well thought out proposal before
commencement of writing. It will aid you in developing a clear path to
completion.
